CHEQUE TO PADRE’S WIDOW (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn./ (Australian and N.Z. Press Association., LONDON, April 10. The King sent a letter to “Woodbine Willie's” widow enclosing ft cheque, indicating that it was a personal gift, and was not intended as a contribution to the public fund, on behalf of herself and son.
