FIRE IN WELLINGTON
BRICKMAKING FACTORY (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. An outbreak of fire occurred yesterday afternoon in tho Wellington Gas Co.'s building at Minimal - , used for the purpose of making fire bricks. Fortunately beyond the fact that the roof was completely destroyed and a large area of grass burned, no damage was done to the phut. Ilrickmakiiig, however, will be suspended for about two weeks. Great volumes of dense black smoke ascending lor some time led people to suspect that a disastrous fire had occurred.
