WEDDING

GRACE—HARRIS A quiet but pretty wedding took place at Holy Trinity Church, Gisborne, on Wednesday, when Agnes Maud, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Harris, of Waerenga-o-kuri. and Patrick MeCiisbin. eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R.. Grace, of Rakauroa, were united in the bonds of holy matrimony. Canon Packe officiated. The bride, wiio was given away by her eldest brother. Mr. Frank Harris, wore a dainty frock of cream georgette and boiiiton lace, Hared skirt and sleeves. The tnllo veil, lent by a friend was held in position by a coronet of orange blossoms finished at one side with a cluster of orange' buds. Her shower bouquet was composed of white roses and maiden hair fern, with white satin streamers. The bride was attended by her sister. Miss Beatrice Harris, who wore r charming model frock of white georgette lieavilv beaded, over shell pink crepe do chine. Her veil was of pink tulle, with a coronet of silver leaves and pink lionets, with shoes to tone. Site also carried a beautiful bouquet of pink roses and maidenhair fern and streamers. The duties of best man were, carried out by Mr. Frazer Shaw, of Rakauroa'. At. the conclusion of the ceremony the guests were entertained at Le Grand Lounge. Mrs. Harris, mother of the bride, received her guests wearing a smart frock of navy blue georgette embroidered in silk braid, over a slip of apricot pleated crepe de chine, with a navv bat, and carried a bouquet to tone. Mrs. Grace, mother of the bridegroom, was becomingly attired in a. black repp coat over a blue maroon in frock, wbb black hat, and carried a beautiful bouquet. The liapnv couple were the recipients of many beautiful presents and later left by 'car en route to Ngaruawahia. where they will make their future home. The bride'travelled in a smart blue and gvev costume, with hat and shoes -on suite.
