VACANT JUDGESHIP
MR. R. KENNEDY MENTIONED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. It is understood that Mr. Robert Kennedy, of the Wellington firm of Messrs. Luke and Kennedy, will be appointed to a judgeship on the Supreme Court bench. A confirmatory announcement is expected to-day. Born in Wellington and educated at Wellington College arid ' 'Victoria University, Mr. Robert Kennedy is an oldstanding member of the bar. He lias been in practice with Mr. Luke formally years, and has been a well-known figure .in court. Of a quiet disposition, hardworking and industrious, lie is regarded as a vorv sound lawver.
