SUICIDE THREATENED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. When Florence Eugene Thompson, 25. was charged at t)io Police Court with vagrancy, Sub-Inspector McCarthy said she had been living with a man who had suffered from an inujry to his eyes and had been unable to earn sufficient money. There had been a squabble and, mi Saturday, accused threatened to throw herself over Cration Bridge. A constable tried to dissuade her, but shy then said sho would go over the end of the wharf.
