CYCLIST RUNS INTO PEDESTRIANS
(Per Press Association.) WHAKATANE, last night
Three pedestrians, Harry Tennant and his two sisters, Dorrie and Louie, were injured by a motor cyclist early this morning while returning from a dance. The cyclist, Charles Wickham, was also injured and he and Tennant were taken to hospital, the former suffering from bad bruises and shock, and the latter from a gash on the back of the head and
’entries to the shoulder. Miss Dorrie Tennant was cut on the back of the bead, necessitating two stitches. Miss Louie Tennant is suffering from bruises and shock. _
