STRIKE FEVER IN SHANGHAI
SHANGHAI, Dec. 4. After enjoying completely immunity during the’ troubles of the past year, the French Concession this morning was in the throes of an industrial struggle, the Chinese employees on all public utilities, including the trams, buses, waterworks and electricity supplv, going on strike. Fortunately, the authorities were forewarned, and took precautions. As a result, while conveyances wore stopped, other utilities were maintained.
