METHOD OF APPOINTMENT (Pep Press Association,? WEbbtNGTON, this day. The following resolutions were passed by the New Zealand Haw'Society nt Wellington yesterday: “That this council strongly approves and endorses the resolution passed by the council of Wellington District Daw Society on November 2, 1028, ‘that: in the emphatic, opinion of the council all appointhionts to the Supremo Court bench should, in the public interest, be filled fr<?m the actively' practising liar;’ and ‘that this council also endorses the letter of the president of the Wellington District Daw Society addressed to the Attorney-General on. November 2, .1028, on the same subject. and protesting against the recent temporary' appointment.’ ”
