BELGRADE, Oct. 12

Radmilla Pukoric, the prettiest girl of the Somlin district, was killed by her mother because she eloped from home With Ivan Vujie.

Radmilla had long been in love with Vujie, but her mother prohibited their marriage, because the man was poor and the girl was the richest in town. When Mrs. Pukoric learned of her daughter's escape, she went to the homo of Vujie. There the girl fell on her knees, imploring pardon and permission to marry her sweetheart; but the mother plunged a kitchen knife into her breast.
