£30,000 OFFER: FILM STAR ' PARIS, Sept. 23. A despatch from Berlin'to-day slates that M. Padcrewski, the famous pianist and ex-President of the Polish Republic, has just accepted ah offer of £30,000 from a German cinema film company to play the leading part in a talking film. M. Paderewski, who is 07 years old, devoted most of his time; during the war to arranging concerts for the benefit of Polish sufferers and to publie speaking on behalf of Poland.
