EGYPTIAN COUP D'ETAT STRUGGLE TO CONTINUE (United Service.) CAIRO, July 21. The Wafd is astounded at the suspension of Parliamentary Government for 10 years. Nalms Pasha and the full Wafd executive were determined to hold a prohibited meeting, but the police restricted, the proceedings to a tea party, with til) guests. Stones were thrown, the police clearing the streets, and making 10 arrests. The newspaper Alahram says that the Wafd reserves the right to pursue the struggle for the country's independence. The Egyptian members of .the bar have decided to strike for three days as a protest against the suspension of Parliamentary'Government.
