The ILawke's P>av Education Board has decided to proceed with the replacement of long desks in the whole of the schools throughout its district, a- job which it is anticipated will take six months to complete. Tables and chairs for the infants are to be provided in the Wniroa, Hastings Street (Napier) and Woodviiie schools, and the dual desks that they replace Mill be used to replace long desks in other schools.
