Mi- Phillip Schneidomati has accepted the tender of tlie Fletcher Construction Co. for the erection of a two-storied building in Wellington on the site of the. old Clarendon hotel. The building will -be of steel-framed concrete construction, and a. distinct novelty will be the duplication of the seven shops below on the first story, making 14 shops in all. Means will be provide! to permit the public to visit and promenade before the upstairs shops. The building is to oe completed by the end of the fust week in December.
