INQUrRIES BY PURCHASERS (Received November 29, 2 p.m.) CANBERRA, Nov. 29. In the House of Representatives, in reply to a question, Mr. Bruce stated that a cabled message had been received from Lord Inehcape that the latter would he prepared to dis-. pose of the Commonwealth Line of steamers for the Government, if desired. Lord Kylsant also had inquired whether in the event of an offer being made for the lino would tho Commonwealth be prepared to indemnify the purchaser against, industrial trouble in Australia. The reply in each case was that tho lino would be offered by public tender, and that the Government could not consider any other offer. .
