A linn) reminder is given of the land sale to be held by Common. Shelton and Co. and Dalgety and Co., in conjunction, at the former's wool store, Palmer.ston road, at 11 a.m. 10-morrow. ft has been decided to hold a Girl Guide rally before the guiders leave for their training camp, and the grounds of St. Winifred's School have been lent for that purpose. As this will be the first rally the guides have had since their inauguration, too much in the nature of a display cannot be expected from the children. However, they will do a. little drill, bandaging, and'other work. The rally will Jbe open to the public, and at its clos r e the guides will be the guests of the executive to tea.
