Nov. 8. “1 cannot help thinking after playing so long that 1 should have had the first refusal of the captaincy,” said Wilfred Rhodes feelingly. ‘‘l admire Sutcliffe, who is a splendid cricketer and a good fellow, hut it looks as if my services are not appreciated.”
