Ffcrling, general manager ol the New Zealand Ud-oper-ative Dairy Co.. Hamilton. The office is a newly crealeil one, and is associated with (iie examination tor the degree of Bachelor of Commerce. Western Fisheries. Ltd., a Ihnieiliii company, will probably he operating soon. I’he scheme is to establish a fishing station in one oi the West Coast fiords, cither at Chalky Sound or Preservation Inlet. The station will he equipped with a freezing plant and the lish will ho transported thence to BlulT as a convenient distributing port. The company will largely rely on sales to the Australian markets. Mr. B. 11. Noes will leave this week for Auckland, as representing the directors, to look at a. steamer which is under offer to do the trips between the fishing station and Bluff.
