NEW ZEALAND (11 N CLUB (Per Press Association.) MASTEKTOX, last night. 'the annual meeting of the New Zealand (inn Club was held to-night, Mr. E. E. Stead, presiding. The annual report disclosed increased patronage to tho sport m the establishment of several new clubs and a bigger membership m the existing organisations. Officers were elected as follow:—President, Mr. It. F. Stead (Christchurch); referees, North Island. Mr. A. Rowbuttum (Otane): South Island, Air. A. L. Sliand (Christchurch); auditor, .Mr. \V. R. Honey (Christchurch); vice-presidents, North Island, Mr. A. Dobson, (Auckland); South Island, Dr. \\ . it. .Simpson (Christchurch): executive. North Island. Messrs, d. Dunlop (Wanganui), E. I!roome (Otane), 11. J. Nit/. (Masterton), (J. Peach (Hamilton), T. Watts (Auckland): South Island, Messrs, It. A rust (lai Input 1). E. Donnelley (CliriKtchurqli), .1. Skilling (Rangiora), R.» S. Taylor (Christchurch), (J. E. Turner (Dunedin). The 11)28 championships were allotted as follow : —flay Pigeons, Ellesmere; love Pigeons, North Canterbury; Sparrows, Ellesmere; North Island Sparrows. Hawke’s Bay: Central North Island Pigeons. Auckland: South Island Sparrows. Christchurch.
