Labor's mass attack on the Trades Union Bill by a gigantic procession through the eilv to Hyde Park culminated in exciting scenes. Communists and Fascist,i quickly eamo to blows, and in the course of a conflict, several yards of an iron railing broke, precipitating men and women in a .scrambling heap. 'I lie shrill screams of women gathered l great crowds L, the spot, and the police had the ulmost, difficulty in restoring order. Reinforce mens managed to i ear the mob, whereupon they found several women badly crushed. Labor's procession extended the length of Victoria Embankment, and carried banners and slogans such as “Kill the Bill,” and “W<: Demand Freedom.”
