CINEMA ACTOR CONVICTED
MANSLAUGHTER OF FRIEND LOS ANGELES, May 25. Paul Kelly, who killed Rav Raymond, was to-day convicted of manslaughter, and will be sentenced next week. Kelly, a debonair young cinema actor, "fell in love with Raymond’s wife, Dorothy Mackaye, and a quarrel ensued between the accused and the dead man. After a fortnight’s hearing the turning point in the case against Kelly came with the testimony of Raymond’s Japanese servant, surnamed “Jungle.” Paul and the dead man’s wile had built up a ease showing a close friendship along most platonic lines, but “Jungle’s” story of what he had seen changed the entire aspect of tho case.
