The Wainui leaves Auckland at 5 p.rn. to-morrow for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne and Napier. She arrives here on Thursdays and on 'completion of the discharge of her cargo sails for Napier. The launch for outward passengers leaves the Kaiti side at 3.30 p.m- (meantime) on Thursdav. The Kahika, with Southern produce, is expected to leave Napier for Gisborne on Tuesday evening. She arrives here on Wednesday morning, and on completion of discharge sails for Dunedin to load again for Napier and Gisborne about May 30, via the usual ports. The Kamo, which has been held up at Bluff by bad weather, was expected to sail from that port at 1 p.m. to-day for Dunedin, thence Gtimaru, Tiinaru. Lyttelton and Wellington, loading at these ports for Napier and Gisborne. The Ivamona is to load coal at Westport early this week for Napier, Gisborne and Wellington. The Kaitangata loads coal at Greymouth about Friday for Wellington, Gisborne and Auckland. The Maori will withdraw at Lyttelton on Sunday, May 29, for annual overhaul. Tho Mararoa will relieve the Maori in this service, commencing from Lyttelton on Monday, May 30. Tin* Maori will later relieve the Waliine lor annual survey and overhaul. Her date of resump |ion will be advised in due 'course. The Tiroa is expected to leave Auckland at noon to-morrow for Gisborne, via Hicks Bay. She arrives here on Thursday morning and sails the next day on the return trip to Auckland, via the Coast, The Elsie Mary leaves Auckland tomorrow night for Gisborne, and is expected here on Thursday morning. The Gunbar is loading at Auckland for the Coast, Gisborne and Napier. The Paknra is 1o leave Wellington tomorrow night for Napier and Gisborne, being due here on Friday. The Pntiki is to leave Auckland tomorrow night for the Coast and Gisborne. The Mnko leaves Auckland to-morrow night for tho Coast and Napier. The l’arera is to sail for Greyimmlh to-morrow night. Regulations and tables governing wire, and iibro ropes used in ship and shore cargo working gear have been gazetted. As was explained by the Minister of Marine recently, regulations and tables so far as they encompassed chains and wire ropes had been in operation since January 1, but it was found necessary to postpone the operation of those relating to fibre ropes to enable further investigations and tests to he carried out.
