GREETINGS TO AUSTRALIA. MELBOURNE, May 12. In the course of his speech at the Canberra festivities, the Hon. A. D. McLeod added: “1 would remind you also that New Zealand’s message is not only an expression of the sentiment of the European inhabitants, but also of those of our great Maori raco, whose loyalty and allegiance to the British Crown is indelibly inscribed in tho history of our nation. Their greeting to Australia on this important stop in its national life is “Kia ora, kia ora, kia ora.”
