LONDON, May 12.

Negotiations fur the purchase of the Bloomsbury site of 11 acres at the British Museum !b.v the University of London from the Duke of Bedford are practically complete, announced the president of tho Board of Education at the annual graduation dinner. He added that the acquisition was possible partly by a contribution from the Chancellor of the Exchequer and partly by a magnificent contribution from the Rockefeller Foundation. It was an extraordinary fact that out of all tho students from foreign countries pursuing a full time university course here, 30 per cent, were studying at the University of London. Similarly, out of all Dominion students 35 per cent, were at the University of London.
