MASTER. AND MAN
SUCCESSFUL CO-OPERATION AT DUNEDIN
The "getting together" movement of the Dnnedin master tailors and their operatives has been very successful, and a number of meetings have been held at which topics of interest and Benefit to all concerned have been discussed. As the outcome of the movement a profitsharing scheme has been prepared and may be put into operation at an early date. It has met with the approval of the master tailors and the union, and now all that is required is the official endorsement of the Master Tailors' Association. ■ Another proposal under way is the establishment of a school for the training of apprentices m the district. The proposal is that tlie employers.support the school and that the Government be asked for a subsidy.
