At the inquest a boy identified the body as that of a- man he saw leave the train and enter the bush on April 4. MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Charles R. Pettigrew, 35, was badly injured in a collision with a tramcar near the Esplanade, New Brighton, at about 7 p.m on Saturday, white he was on a motor cycle. Pettigrew sustained a compound fracture of the right leg, and one of his hands was torn, and he was injured on the face. He was hurried in an ambulance to hospital, where he was operated on.

A LONG SLEEP DUNEDIN, this day. The body of Michael Edward Duggan, 38, a single man, a native of Ireland, who Dunedin from Auckland, was found much decomposed in Chisholm Park on Saturday. , The police stated that the position of the body suggested that the deceased had been asleep.
