DROPPED DEAD

General Von Wrisberg, who was prominent during the war, dropped dead, following an altercation with a policeman on the steps of the Bismarck moiument, fronting the Reichstag. He led a small delegation to Jay a wreath on the steps in honor of Bismarck’s birthday, and was about to make a speech when a policeman intervened, as speeches are forbidden in the Reichstag Square. The general became heated in the ensuing ■ (uitroversy, and tile policeman took him by the arm, requesting him to follow to the police station. The general walked two steps and then fell dead.
in addition to his duties as Director of the War Department during the war, he headed the, German military delegation in the peace negotiations.
