HIT A STUMP
AEROPLANE CRASH
.MELBOURNE Jan. 3
An aeroplane, piloted by Keith Farmer, of Essendon Aerodrome, crashed at AVallacedale Gymkhana, near Portland yesterday. ' The machine was taking off when it hit a stump. The, nose of the machine was wrecked and the pilot was badly cut about the face and head. Two' passengers escaped with a shaking.
