A MOA'S SKELETON

FOUND ON COROMANDEL PENINSULA (Per Press Association.) THAMES, this day. The almost complete, skeleton of a moa was found at Matamatakorakeke, on the east coast of the Coroinandel Peninsula, shortly after a south-west gale which moved the sand dunes. Fragments of eggs were also found. The skeleton lias been offered to the Auckland Museum.
