MACRAE BATH FUND
(To ilie Editor of the Herald.)
Sir, —I notice that the executive of tho above campaign have arranged for a. monster entertainment in the beautiful grounds of Mr. Vincent Barker on Thursday next. Permit me to point out to tho executive that every publicity should bo given as to the route and means of reaching these grounds. While quite close to town, the. entrance to Mr. Barkers place is off tho regular traffiq route,, and it is not very well known to the general public. There are many people who Will be anxious to visit the grounds on Thursday and it is desirable that they should know just where to go and how to go. While. On the subject of the bath fund I think the ■executive should state again what sum is aimed at. There have been so many different, amounts mentioned from time to time that very few know what sum is required. The time for closing the campaign now is not far off, and it will be a great, pity if the required amount is not raised. ' This letter is not written in criticism of the public-spirited work of the members of the executive, but in a genuine desire to help along the campaign.—l am. etc.. CITIZEN.
