James Aitkeu's subject at St. Andrew’s Church to-morrow morning is “The Limitation of God.” The quarterly Communion service will be held in the evening. i n Jn order to raise funds to purchase further ground for growing needs, the Poverty Bay Bowling Club purpose holding a Gala Day on Thursday, December 16. The Rev. F. A. Crawshaw will conduct the popular monthly song service at the Tabernacle to-morrow evening, commencing with community singing at 6.30 p.m. His subject at 7 p.in. will be “The Gall of Christ,” and at 11 a.m. “The Bondage of Love." The Arts and Handicraft Circle of tho Gisborne Women’s Club have been very busy for somo months making many beautiful and useful articles,; which will be displayed next Thursday afternoon in the club rooms. The j public is invited. Admission will be i ]/-, and afternoon tea will bo included. A short musical programme has. been arranged.
