Hesketh Pearson, literary agent p.ud publisher of "Whispering Gallery," has been arrested. Kesketh Pearson, an actor of some note, and a writer (if short stories, is alleged to have been connected with the publication of "Whispering Gallery," the book which created such a sensation when it appeared and was subsequently withdrawn as a hoax. A cable message yesterday stated that the publishers would be taking legal steps within the next 24 hours.
