GERMANY'S CONTENTIONS OBJECTIONS TO CONTROL (Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association., BERLIN, November 25. “• Germany expects foreign Governments to note the fact that she has fulfilled the disarmament conditions for the recall of the Allied! military mission. and has proved that she is. ready to carry out her obligations under the Versailles treaty,” said Dr. Stresemann in a Reichstag debate on foreign policy. He added that technical points not yet settled did not necessitate a further imposition upon Germany of a psychological burden, due to the presence of foreign officers, whicli is incompatible with Germany’s entry' into the League of Nations and adhesion to the Locarno Pact. Moreover, Germany maintains that the demand for general disarmament is incompatible with her equality within the League, in that other nations should be at liberty regarding disarmament, while one is completely disarmed and controlled. Referring to the Thoirv conversations, Dr. Stresemann expressed the opinion that the Franco-German relations could he stated in the terms of a mathenielicai formula. If the will to solve difficulties existed, a solution would be found.
