FORTHCOMING SESSIONS A SHORT LIST The ikt of business prepared for the quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court at Gisborne, to ■commence on Monday next, is a comparatively short one, anil should be disposed of in the course of a few days. There is a complete absence of any criminal charges from the list, for the first time in a considerable period. The civil business includes several claims for substantial amounts. The presiding judge will hear a motion for the admisison of Mr. S. V. Beaufoy as a barrister of the Supreme Court, moved by Mr. L. T. Burnard. The list of other business 'comprises the following:— CIVIL CASES. Before judge and special jury: Ernest James Robinson and George Robinson (Mr.- L., T. Burnard), v. Fredk. Hall, Fredk. Thomas Hall, and Joseph Poole, a claim for £6OOO damages for alleged fraudulent representations concerning a sa!e of property and stock. Before judge and jury of twelve: •Stanley Ernest Hobday" (Mr. J. S. Wauchop), v. David John Barry (Mr. J. G. Nolan), claim for £lslß damages, for injuries received due to alleged negligence on the part of defendant's employee. Before judge alone: William Elliott (Mr. S. V. Beaufoy), v. Samuel Kirkpatrick (Mr. J. Kinder), application for revocation of probate. John McKay (Mr. J. G. Jeunet, v. Union Steam Ship Co., claim for £1575 damages, alleged to be due to the negligence of defendant company's employees. C. R. Skeet and Co. (Mr. J. S. Wauchop), v. John Frank Pettie, sheepfarmer, and William John Callow, builder, claim for £6BB, for work done and timber supplied (application made under the Wages Protection Act), IN DIYORCE. Before judge and jury : Robert Ernest Shipp, petitioner (Mr. "j. S. Wauchop), v. Annie Elizabeth Shipp, respondent, and .Richard Kemp, co-respondent (Mr. S. V.
