ARMISTICE DAY
OBSERVANCE ARRANGEMENTS Tog Governor-General has received the following cable message from the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs:— "His Majesty has approved of arrangements for observance in this country of Armistice Day, November 11, on the same lines as last year, namely: (1) Short service will be held at the Cenotaph on the lines adopted in previous years, including hymn 'Oh. Cod, Our Help in Ages Past.' His Majesty will be present and will lay wreath. "(2) Two minutes' silence will be observed at 11 a.m. Local authorities in this country will be asked to arrange for suspension of aIU vehicular tramie for two minutes from 11 a.m., but rail and water transport will not be suspended." The Hon. W. Downie Stewart. ActingPrimo Minister, has requested that suitable arrangements should fro made by the local Bodies.
