BRITAIN’S DEAD

MEMORIAL IN BELGIUM SHOULD BE AT MONS (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, November 5. “It should be at Mons,” was the quick decision of the King, when several suggested sites for the Belgian memorial to the British dead were placed before him. The memorial, which is a large bronze and marble plaque, carrying the arms of Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and India, and is inscribed “To the memory of the million men who fell throughout the world.” will be unveiled on Armistice Dav.
