Twenty-six Salvation Army boy migrants who are sailing for'New Zealand by the Mataroa visited Mr. Coates at the Hotel Cecil at eight o’clock in the morning. Mr. Coates, addressing the boys, said: “You will find a hearty welcome, in New Zealand, but you must not expeet io pick up fortunes in a fciv days. That is not done nowadays. Stick to the principles inculcated here and you will succeed. You will find similar traditions in New Zealand as in Britain. Trust in God, and keep your powder dry.”
