HUGE FLOATING DOCK. LONDON, Oct. 6. It was disclosed at Middlesborough to-day that the Furness Shipbuilding Company has submitted a tender to the Admiralty for a huge floating dock for Singapore, to be built on the River Tees. The Tee’s Conservancy Commission today agrees to deepen the navigable channel of the river where necessary to permit of tho contract being carried out.
