LADIES' GOLF

VISIT TO WAIROA. l (Special Ic the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. A party of Gisborne lady golfers paid a friendly visit to Wairon yesterday, ihf I lip proving a most enjoyable one. Fourteen ladies essayed the journey, returning home again last evening. Two-ball games were played in the morning and four-ball games in the afternoon. There was no regular competition, the visit being more of a friendly mid,'informal nature. The visitors were hospitably entertained at luncheon and afternoon tea at the pavilion.
