FINED FOR ASSAULT
INCONSIDERATE LODGER (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Bernard O'Donnel, 32, was charged in the Police Court that be assaulted Maria Malum. Complainant stated that the accused had hoarded at her bouse. Since April be. bad been out of work, and .she got tired of keeping him and put him out. She locked the door, but he got in through the window, and punched and kicked her. The accused said he only pushed the complainant, and had worked for ten weeks. He was lined £2, or seven days gaol.
