FOOLISH BRAVADO
CHANNEL SWIM ATTEMPT LEFT WITHOUT ESCORT (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) PARIS, September 22. A young Spaniard, Rodriquez Delara, was seen to enter the water at Cape Grisnez on Monday morning and has not been heard of since. He left a letter, in which he stated his intention of swimming the Channel without escort. It is feared he was drowned.
