BREAKING AND ENTERING
MAN CAUGHT RED-HANDED
AN OPOTIKI CASE (Special to* the Herald.) OPOTIKI, this clay. For some, time past someone has been entering tbe premises of the Farmers’ Union Trading Co. at Opotiki, and takimr goods. During the past week Sergeant Ferguson and Constable Henley, together with the manager and accountant of the film, have been keeping a close watch, and this morning, at 6.30 o’clock, a young man entered the premises through a window, and was promptly apprehended. In a statement made to the police he admitted that ho had entered the buildin!! on a number of occasions and had stolen £l6. also cigarettes and other goods. He will be brought, before the Court at Opotiki to-day, when a remand will be sought.
