TRAIN COUPLINGS BREAK

Passengers by the Unit train that usually reaches the city in time to allow people to reach their ollices by 9 o’clock got a severe jolting to-day when extra carriages were being taken on at Lower Unit station. Two severe shocks wert? sufficient to throw a number of passengers out of their seats. When the train went to proceed the couplings of two carriages parted, and delay was caused in removing the ears for despatch to the repair simp. Lambtoil station was reached 20 minutes bite.
