The Times, commenting on the dairying report, says: "it is incumbent Sp the various parts of the Empire immediately to take up the question of how best to ensure the future of the industry against the pressure of foreign countries with low wages and a low standard of living. There is no escape from the committee's conclusion that the Empire producer must discover and adopt more efficient, and cheaper methods of production."
The Finnncial Times* states : "While tlie Umpire proportion'of the dairying trade is good, it is capable of expansion. The problem is to increase the output without increasing the cost."
