WOMAN EXPIRES SUDDENLY, i A RECENT ARRIVAL. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. The sudden death of .Mrs Agnes Gardner Anderson, aged 67, who arrived from Glasgow only etov.cn days ago, occurred to-day al the home of friends at Blockhouse Bay, with whom she was staying. Mrs Anderson was seized with heart attacks and died before medical aid could be summoned.
A sail circumstance is that Mrs Anderson was to have moved into her own homo to-morrow. She is survivor! by Mr. Anderson ami a married daughter, who resides at Blockhouse Bay. J DINGHY CAPSIZES. j SAD DROWNING ACCIDENT. | I AUCKLAND, last night. William Frederick Jones was drowned this afternoon in Whau creek, New Lynn, through the capsize of a sevenfoot dinghy, which was being used for the first lime. : His brother, Herbert Jones, clung to the overturned boat and was pluckily rescued by Oswald McMillan. | William Jones intended to sail for Sydney by the Marama to-morrow, bur, subsequently, changed his mind and visited his brother instead. ■ FALL [)OW* HOLD. | SEAMAN SENT TO HOSPITAL. ! William "May, seaman, aged 20, i whose home is in Lvt.telton, was admitted to hospital today suffering from head injuries received through falling down the hold of the, steamer Waioahi.
