N.Z. LAMB EXPORT
PASSES 5,000.000 MARK
• At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board m Wellington, the chairman. Mr. I). Jones, stated that during the season just vlnscd the export of lambs from New Zealand for the first time exceeded 5,000,000. He referred to the steps which had been taken to advertise our produce in Great Britain. The exhibit at Wembley., he said, bad been a valuable advertisement to New Zealand. Up to the pre sent time 6000 lambs had been scut Home under the single carcase sysU'in, and many letters of appreciation of the quality of our lamb |jad been received. The advertising of our produce by means of picture shows would no doubt also prove of great value.
