LABOR PARTY'S METHODS. UNION CANCELS AFFILIATION. (For Pros’; A«socinf-ioii.i DUNEDIN, this day. The Otago and Southland Hotel, Restaurant. and Boarding-house Employees’ Union, with about f(JO members, decided to cancel alliliation with the Labor Party as represented in Dunedin by the Otago Labor Representation Committee. I lie reasons given, says the secretary, are that the majority of members consider that as at present constituted the Labor Party is of no use to the workers, and because of the way the Union considered the secretary had recently been instilled by the Labor Representation Committee.
