Replying to the complaints of country men)hern of tin* Labor caucus that insurance rates under the Compensation to Workers’ Act are unduly high, Mr. Lang said the Government would not stand for making profits out of the pockets of the people. At the end of each year, out of the surplus over working expenses from the State Insurance Office, the Government would pay a rebate, and gradually reduce premium rates, until insurers had the benefit of all the profits realised.
