IMPRESSING THE FARMERS. LECTURING TOUR ARRANGED. (Special to the flerald.) AUCKLAND, this day. The importance of science in agriculture is being impressed on farmers of the Auckland province by the Auckland University College, through Hie medium of lectures by Professor W. Riddet. Professor of Agriculture, who has planned a lecturing tour embracing all the fanning centres. Professor Riddet deals with various problems confronting the farmers in a very interesting manner, a fact which is evidenced by the way in which the lectures he has already given have been received.
