M. \V.i Craig, disclosed a sound position, and steady progress as regards finance and numerical! strength. The Grand Lodge auditor, Pro. T. O'. Lawless, stated that substantia', increases were shown in the various funds. The death of one brother, by accident, had to be recorded, and in that connection £2o' bad been paid out. of the sick and funeral fund and .PICO rnsuraiuce during the halfyear. The entertainment fund showed 1 a satisfactory increase. Regarding the Hospital fund, .this account was showing a debit balance last- half-year, but now it was in credit to the extent of £ls 13s, after paying TAI Ids 6d hospital fees and clearing off the arrears of £22 ds 2d. The maternity fund showed that seven claims bad been met, as against twelve for the previous period. The pension fund now stood at £795 Is del, showing an increase of £lO 10s 2d. Ifa concluded by complimenting the lodge, and thanking the secretary, A. 1)., and officers of the lodge. Pro. Witty, coauditor, also congratulated the brethren on the excellent position of the lodge.
