NEW PLYMOUTH, last nicrht

An emphatic protest against the Dairy Produce Control Board assuming absolute* control of produce us from September 1. was made at a meeting of over 90 dairy farmers in New Plymouth yesterday, and if- was decided to ask Parliament to prevent "this unconstitutional and unwarranted seizure of lawfullyowned property." and to oppose* any alteration in the present method of direct voting by the individual produce**

The meeting was called by the Free Marketing League. Two staunch defenders of control submitted an amendment, expressing confidence in thel Board and its policy, but none but themselves voted for if.
